Born in Ljubljana in 2014, this band brings me together with the engaging and energetic jazz- and ethno-violinist Petra Onderufová and the freedom-loving, improvising, style-mixing guitarist and singer Alexander Kuzmić in a high-powered acoustic trio where we strive to make a new sound blending our respective backgrounds. Rethinking traditional Balkan tunes and writing new through-composed pieces, sprinkled with improvised solos, has made us a strong new addition to the Slovenian, European and (dare I) World Music scene. We tour all around, on concert and festival stages from Italy to Sweden and Belgium to China, through Switzerland, Iran and Uzbekistan.

Our first studio album, Lost Weekend was released in 2016; our second, Bendjistan was released in 2019, both with Celinka records.
